Our mother went seamlessly from a sub acute rehab into The Bristal at Sayville recently. She has a beautiful apartment and is making her way into the community more and more each day. The variety of activities in and out of the facility is amazing. She is beginning PT and OT and has already improved strength and balance. Above all, the courteous, capable and friendly staff give us as her family the confidence that she is safe and cared for.
Moving our 90 year old mom back from a Florida assisted living to Long Island became our priority in November before the holidays season set in. After attending their open house, meeting with the Bristal staff and touring the facility a few times we knew this was the best home for her. Our mom has been living at The Bristal in Sayville for 6 months now. Mom had a hard time adjusting to a new way of living and the staff at The Bristal were extremely patient and caring to help her. She is now loving the Bristal. The staff take good care of her, she loves the food, the place is very clean, and the entertainment staff for very hard to keep the residents busy and challenged in a good way. I recently moved my father into the Sayville location and the entire staff was fantastic to work with and the process was easy. I highly recommend The Bristal, you won’t be disappointed.
The activities are wonderful. The food is good. The people are very, very good here. The staff is wonderful the food service is good. I’d have to give it a 8 to 9 out of 10 for food. As far as activities go I get involved with most of them and the recreation people work very hard at keeping us busy. As far as the staff in the wellness Center is concerned we have some wonderful nurses. They are immediately at you at the scene if there’s an issue. Jennifer is good.
