I love The Brass Kettle. It's one of my favorite places to eat around Aberdeen. My boyfriend and I love going to the Quick Lunches and look forward to the menu of the week that comes out every Monday so that we can plan the days we grab lunch together. Dinner is also fantastic and the cost of a bottle of wine for the table is affordable. The staff is ever so friendly and the specials are always on point. So happy to have this great restaurant in town.
Only good thing I would say about our visit was the waitress was very good, my husband ordered the ribeye steak with potato wedges. The steak tasted like it was freezer burnt the wedges were completely soggy. I ordered the chicken cordon blue, the alfredo sauce tasted like nothing but butter sauce, crispy chicken was mushy, bacon and ham were so salty I couldn't eat more then a couple bites. Will not be going back

Hello samantha. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I spoke with your server and she said she wasn't told about your thoughts about the food until you were ready to leave. We would've gladly re cooked your order or made you something different if we knew right away. As for the steak, we order the best quality you can get in SD, and it's not frozen so I'm not sure why it would taste like that, we get rave reviews on our steak most of the time, but its hard to fix a problem unless it's addressed right away. Of all the times we've stopped in, we experienced one instance where our appetizer came cold. The server promptly took care of the issue. GREAT FOOD! WONDERFUL SERVICE! We just don't get there as much as we'd like to.
We went there tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was amazing! Beautifully decorated and amazing food! We will definitely be back!
