I’ve been going to Mimi’s for about 4 years now, and honestly, it’s been a mix. Grace and Titus usually do my box braid styles and they come out really nice. Yaa has done my hair twice, both times were simpler cornrow styles. The first time was actually great, just six stitch cornrows with extensions, super neat, lasted a few weeks, and I even dressed it up with beads. I've been going to MiMi's Braiding Bar for about 2 or 3 years. Never had a bad experience with the braiders. Everyone comes in, speaks and goes straight to work and I love it. My hair always comes out exactly how I wanted it -- most times even better. The ladies are all very kind and talented. I have and would recommend anyone to MiMi's Braiding Bar.

My first time here and my braider was really nice, but my braids are waaaay too heavy. I asked for small knotless, and I got small parts but big braids, so my head has been throbbing for the past 24 hours. I had to cut some braids off because they were just way too tight. I feel the whole point of getting knotless is to avoid pain. I’ve never experienced this much pain post braiding appointment, and have a concert in three days.
