Firstly, the owner has a really nasty attitude. She only hires teenage girls, and she totally take advantage of them. I’ve used them several different times and when doing so she always asks me. How old is my daughter as if that matters when I pay for a service, I expect things to be executed. Good evening on this lovely Tuesday September 24 2024. I normally take my 2 boys age 5 and 7 to get there hair braided and partake in the 25 dollar special on Tuesdays. Now since school has started back and the braid bar closes at 5pm it's a challenge to take down and wash hair after school. So I figured I would get their hair washed on site as it was 10 dollars per head. However today was a different price which is now 40 per person to get a hair wash. I visited the Gwinnett location. One turned out ok, the other, I could have done myself. Look, if this is a business catering to children, keep this in mind. Not everyone exposes their children to ratchet conversation, music, or environments. I try to support US, but, we cannot do right! How hard is it to keep your personal business YOUR personal business?? Your personal preference of entertainment, YOUR personal entertainment?? This is absolutely ridiculous.
Being 9 months pregnant I always call before arriving to any establishment to make sure that I will be serviced. I called The Braid Bar to verify closing time...a young lady answered & said 5 but we take our last customer at 4:45. I arrived with my daughter at 4:30. We walked in a woman greeted me & asked what I needed. I explained I wanted a natural braid style on my 7yr old.
