RecommendedWe've been going to The Bowery Dugout for a few years for my boyfriends birthday (who is also a long-time friend of Bruce's). This year - Dec 28,2019 - we brought more friends who had never been there. To say the least, they were extremely happy and satisfied with their meals. They both said they will bring their out of state relatives there when they visit. Everything was wonderful, and we had lots of leftovers to share the next day. Thanks for another Happy Birthday party!!
amazing food great atmosphere
The food was amazing! The cook definitely know how to cook his seafood. The calamari was perfectly cooked without being rubbery or raw. My haddock was perfect flaky but moist! The staff are friendly. The bar tender was amazing as well. I would definitely recommend you try this place.
We stop here when we visit family in the area. Good food and service. Reasonable prices.
Have been going to the Bowery Dugout for over fifty years but today we were not happy. While the food was as good as usual,we had to wait more than 45 minutes before the waitress brought it. She did apologize but might have mentioned that they were running behind without us asking her why we were waiting so long. I hope the service improves as we would miss going there.
From my Mom making the reservations and changed them three times, she was always greeted nicely on the phone. Our Server Gregg was great and wonderful about changing our table arrangement, explaining the specials, and was very spot on with the attention he gave our table, as did the other wait staff. It was very special when they sung Happy Birthday to my nephew. All in all, we had terrific family time, food and belly laughs. Great seafood! Amazing Thursday raw bar!
Thanks to Jeff Lipton and his staff.... always a great meal. Seafood is awesome... love the oysters and crab legs were great! Give them a visit, you’ll be back!
