Frank showed 2 apartments and called every other realtor in astoria an amateur because my student loans had plummeted my credit score and i was struggling to get approved. He told me that it meant I was educated and that it was a good thing. I applied to the apartment since he made it seem like I'd get approved. Extremely deceptive practices. Illegally charged broker fees after the Fare act was passed. Please use a different broker.
You can believe in the negative reviews here. Frank is polite in person but via text he’s unprofessional. He would lie and use tactics to pressure you into signing. Overall a terrible experience.
I am quite surprised on the negative reviews here. It might be agent-specific. My experience with Gus Kounelis was great. He really showed that he cared for my interest, and would try to get the best deal for me. He was transparent, highly communicative, and diligent. I would recommend him as an agent and would keep in touch with him for future opportunities.
