The room was lovely with every accommodation you could want. While we did not actually meet the owners, they were in touch with us to check on things throughout our stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The linens and pillows were very luxurious. I would highly recommend staying at The Bookhouse while visiting the Kennet area.

I went for a one night stay to the Kennett Square location and LOVED IT! I cannot wait to come back and try the Bookhouse at Faunbrook with some of my book friends in a few months! We are working on planning something because they loved the pictures I was sending them so much and the idea of a bookish getaway. Adorable! We were in The Secret Garden and it was perfect! Definitely try out claw foot tub. Great night sleep in very comfy bed.

We stayed in the Secret Garden. I have to admit, I was expecting wall-to-wall bookcases. But that's probably not exactly practical. The bookcases that were in the rooms were amazingly stocked with books from almost all genres. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. The loft was cozy. The kitchenette was adequate. The hotel itself is an easy walk away from restaurants and shopping. We're thinking we could have used more time - a one night stay just isn't enough!

The Bookhouse Hotel is charming! No detail was overlooked. The design of the room and furnishings were stunning. I loved browsing through the books! We didn’t want to leave and look forward to returning.
