Upon entering this Manassas establishment, everyone I encountered who worked there was less than pleasant and seemed to have an attitude. The friend with me had the same opinion. Ordered pulled pork, baked potato and collard greens. At a gross level, food was mediocre at best. Mediocre food and employees with attitudes equals “I won’t be going back there”. Chic Filet customer service training might help here.
Out local BBQ place closed and we happened to be in Manassas and saw that The Bone was just around the corner and had good reviews. We ordered the BBQ Picnic Pack (1# pulled pork, 1# brisket, 2 sides (ranch beans and potato sladad), BBQ sauce and rolls plus another 1/2# of brisket. The food was good. My only food issue was the brisket was sliced a little thick for our liking (we're used to eating Texas BBQ and the brisket is never sliced thick). My big issue is we walked in and ordered take out. Fantastic BBQ and tasty sides!! Well worth every penny!
I really loved the Customer Service. However, the brisket had no seasoning/flavor. The ribs were a little chewy and needed some more seasoning. The baked potato was good, but I did not like the taste of the baked beans. This was my first time at this restaurant. Because the atmosphere and customer service were nice/welcoming, I will come back and try something else.
Bone Bbq was just ok. The meat, ribs and brisket were good, but the sides.. not so much. I ordered Mac and cheese, which was very bland. The greens had way too much vinegar to enjoy. With such a high rating I was expecting better.
