I was operated on for impingement of my nerve in the L4/L5 lumbar region due to disk degeneration causing spinal stenosis (narrowing of the natural opening the nerve root exits thru) on the left side of my spinal column. I don't know what your particular medical issues are but for myself the experience was great.
