Julian and his colleague did a great job installing a new 2-head heat pump system. They arrived when expected and completed the work by the projected time. They were professional yet pleasant, working diligently and seamlessly as a finely-tuned team. They returned the work area to a clean state, removing all waste. And most important of all, the units all work! I highly recommend The Boiler Shoppe!
Great install! Ricardo, Julian and Matt were excellent and knowledgeable about their work. Matt and Julian finished the installation in time and cleaned up very well after they were finished.
Huge disappointment. The Boiler Shoppe installed a new NTI hot water boiler in our building (about 45 tenants, including elderly residents and infants). The system repeatedly broke down and The Boiler Shoppe had great difficulty finding a technician to come and fix it. Most recently the system failed last week and our tenants have been without hot water for nine days. Despite urgent texts and phone calls, Ricardo — the owner — did not respond once. I recently upgraded to a hybrid heat pump system and had a fantastic experience working with Ricardo. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the different brands and helped me weigh the pros and cons of Mitsubishi vs. Panasonic for my specific home layout. He paired it with an Amana furnace and both are keeping my house cozy and warm. I’m based in the UK, so coordinating a boiler installation remotely in Toronto was understandably stressful but Ricardo and the team made the entire process feel completely effortless.
