I made a 4 hour drive to get a new Tohatsu Motor from these guys and have them install it on my boat. Exactly one week later with less than 2 hours on the motor it disconnected from my boat and sunk down 4'. It took me over an hour to get the motor out of the water. I immediately contacted Chet, he gave me steps to follow but it never started again. When Chet and his people installed the boat motor they cut a spacer I'd been using on my old motor in half and attached the clamps to each piece. They did not bolt it to the jack... read more

Hello Mr. Jeremy, Your message well received. Bring in your motor and our techs will pickle the engine. What steps did the dealership advise you to do with the submerged engine. For the price you mentioned, suggest it’s a small/portable engine, you only need a lift to install heavier engines. When did this incident happened and what help did the dealership didn’t offer.
