9/23/26 UPDATE: The food and customer service is still 10/10. I'm so glad that I stopped by the Blue Hole Restaurant after class. The food was great. The music and service was excellent. I ordered the all day breakfast with eggs, bacon, refried beans, fruits and fryjack. I also ordered the sampler platter with garnaches, panades, salbutes, and tostadas. Authentic Belizean food. I highly recommend. 10/10
Everything was delicious!
Yesterday, I came in to get some oxtail. I was charged for the oxtail, and then we sat and waited for about 10 minutes before being told that they were actually out of oxtail rice and beans. We had no choice but to get the stewed chicken instead. To make matters worse, they gave us the smallest portion of potato salad I have ever seen. The food was okay. The meat could have been more tender and the rice fluffier. I couldn't taste any coconut milk in the rice and beans or the stew beans. Tatse more American than Belizean in terms of authenticity. The little potato salad container to rice ratio is crazy, I had to baby potato salad just so it would last one side of rice. Customer service was great as from both of the ladies who were working . Music was jamming nice crowd.
