Embarrassed to have sent a gift basket from The Bloom Room to my new in-laws for Christmas. It looked like a grocery haul from the dollar store.
It has been very disappointing. I scheduled the delivery for my mother-in-law one day in advance; it was the first time I was sending her something, and she even knew a surprise would be arriving. No one informed me that the flower shop would be closed. When I saw that nothing had been delivered, I called many times, sent emails, and got no response. Super frustrating experience. My boyfriend ordered me flowers from the website and had called me the day the order was supposed to be delivered, asking if I received any delivery. I hadn’t, and that was due to the closure of this place, to set up for the winter holidays without any warning on their website. So the flowers were going to be two days late without any communication from the store via email or website. I have used The Bloom Room Floral Company multiple times over the last few years. Each time the orders are completed to stunning detail and have been received very warmly as gifts. That's why I was surprised to run into an issue with my most recent order in terms of the expected delivery time. I will say though that the owner rectified this in a very quick timeline, was responsive on the phone and went above and beyond to complete the order with some special extras added.
