Controlling and not allowing patient's wishes. Emotionally disturbing to patient and their family and friends. Shameful care.

When I was asked to choose hospice for a loved one I was impressed by the reviews and the online photos and felt I was making the right decision. Twice I have been in tears because of the lack of care my loved one has received. He sat in his own urine for two days because I was told that he refused care (he refused at hospital too (85 with dementia) but they still changed him. The batting from the pull up he was wearing was stuck to his private area and he had not been changed. He was also not given food for two days because... read more
