The Blake staff has been friendly, accommodating, and professional. The facility is modern and clean, and we have appreciated the focus on low risk living but also with ample activities geared for fun and personal growth. The Blake has exceeded our expectations for an assisted living facility with a team of professional that treat you like family.
The Blake is a beautiful facility, but unfortunately, the staff and management fall short in providing proper care. Communication about a patient’s condition does not seem to be shared consistently among staff. My mother-in-law suffered a stroke that left her blind and with short-term memory loss. She was unable to prepare her own snacks or clean her room. During her stay, her room was only cleaned once—conveniently, on the day she was leaving.
