The food was great however the waitstaff completely forgot one of our parties meals and when we bought it to their attention no one took accountability and they still had to wait additional minutes for their meal.
Possibly the best Muscles dish, and White Sangria I've ever had. Great spot we stumbled upon today after an afternoon in NB.

I've been to the black whale 5 times now. Pros: I've always had excellent service.The atmosphere is nice and the food is decent. Cons: The lights at the bar are extremely bright at night making it awkward to sit and enjoy without feeling like your being interrogated. I ended up leaving after dinner to have drinks at Rose Alley.
I must say, after all the hype I was excited to try. The baked stuffed shrimp was marginal at best, the scallops wrapped in bacon was bland with no taste, and the shrimp cocktail was decent- large shrimp, but I've had much much better! Definitely not worth what I spent. Extremely disappointed as I've heard great reviews.
If there was a rating of less than 1 I surely would have assigned that rating. We went there for dinner Thursday evening August 4th with two of our good friends. There was a wait for the deck so we decided to dine indoors, turned out to be a big mistake. The tables were in close proximity and the noise level was way above reasonable.
