The staff are excellent, along with the food. Very accommodating, everyone seems like they enjoy working there, plenty of space, very stylish & open air feeling, great prices, quality of every part of our experience was outstanding. Very chic atmosphere without feeling too chic. Can't wait to come back.

Visited yesterday, was starting to get chilly, the heat lamps felt lovely. My Clam roll was awesome!! I love a light batter. Haven’t had fried clams since Covid started. It sure was a nice treat!! I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. Hope it’s still open 😊
This is the second time at The Black Whale. Loved it both times. Delicious cocktails, wonderful food, great service. There will be a third time.

Food was good. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was full on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend. There weren’t a lot of service people in the dining room, but those that were there were friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was Covid compliant with plenty of space between tables. Food arrived to the table hot. I’d definitely come back again!

Amazing food, view and extremely friendly staff! My husband and I enjoyed chowder and sushi for an appetizer. Highly recommend the "full boat" and the "crunchy tuna" rolls. For dinner I got the Latin salmon and he got the Tuna special- catch of the day. Both were outstanding! For dessert we had the creme brulee and the oreo peanut butter ice cream pie! We had the best time and are looking forward to going back!
