What an outstanding find just off State Street. The food was presented so beautifully and the plates exploded with lively, seasonal flavors. From the stunningly simple and elegant interior, to the friendly wait staff with smiles on their faces, this spot is a total gem.
Very nice brasserie. The atmosphere is casual chic and the service is quietly attentive. Based on the two dishes we ordered, the food is simple, yet cooked elegantly, perfectly, and very delicious. We decided to split an appetizer and a main. To start, we had the beet and chevre "cheesecake." This was goat cheese whipped up with some beets or beet juice and served with more beets and topped with a crumble. The dish was inspired. Very nice atmosphere and location. Food was good but wasn’t the warmest when delivered.
Do not miss their tasting menu. Wow. Our faves this visit included ahi crudo, short ribs, molten chocolate and a perfect creme brule'. Helpful and friendly staff. Creative wine cocktails. We will be back soon for the lamb trio.
