We had our wedding at the Black Diamond Lodge in Durango, and it was simply the perfect venue. It's so much bigger than in the pictures and the space is genuinely so BEAUTIFUL. The rooms are so comfortable and there was so much space for all of our guests to enjoy. From the game room, to the hot tubs and spa, the dining room and the lobby, our guests (and ourselves) enjoyed every part of this lodge. The lodge is beautiful. We used this venue for a 3 day wedding- having never been to the lodge or even Durango before the day. They offered a video tour which was really helpful, but the venue was even better and bigger in person. The lodge is not a place that cuts corners. If you go, you can expect to have all your needs accounted for and an absolutely beautiful view.
We had our wedding at the black diamond lodge on September 21st, 2025 and it was an absolute dream. Mason, the bartender, was so great; from the second we met with him, to check in, and at the wedding itself; he was so much fun & every single guest was blown away by his kindness. We would have our wedding here over and over again if we could!
Our October wedding at Black Diamond Lodge was nothing short of incredible. Peak fall colors, intimate guest accommodations, easy communication and check-in, and the friendliest staff, this side of the Rockies. A very special shoutout to Mason, our rockstar of a bartender/concierge. Mason crafted elevated Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini cocktails using some signature syrups that he made himself.
