Very disappointing experience at The Bistro, particularly with the manager, Sam. We came for drinks and oysters in the evening and waited about 40 minutes, asking twice for updates while guests who arrived after us were served first. We first dinned here the first year it opened and even then it was five star! Last night my wife and I stopped in Jackson and decided to visit once again. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks! This bar tender knew how to make deliciously good blood Mary’s twice! We ordered French Onion Soup, Escargot and Tuna Tartar! Everything was delicious and five star plus! It was so good we felt like we were in France! Staff are well trained and efficient! Highly recommend this restaurant!
My girlfriend came up from Yellowstone so I wanted to take her out to a nice dinner. I selected Bistro as the menu looked awesome on their website. We got seated on the patio and it was super comfortable. Immediately upon opening the menu I noticed their prices were significantly higher that Online, but whatever, lets treat ourselves. Overpriced restaurant with average food. Loud inside and hot outside seating on the front patio. The service was good. It's the only place we went during a week long trip that did not bring a credit card reader to the table or process payment at a counter. Coincidently, my card number was stolen that week.
