I just had my first baby at Fairview Ridges and we had such a wonderful experience! Our nurse, Jazzy, was so supportive and encouraging with her words. I truly could not have felt more comfortable and empowered! She also advocated for me based on my initial birth plans, but of course things changed! Our room had all the amenities we needed (and forgot!). The postpartum unit was also full of many incredibly kind nurses and brought us everything we needed. I was amazed at how helpful every nurse was with breastfeeding until we... read more

Had my first child here and I don't have a single negative thing to say! I'm sure things also depend on who your OB provider is, so also thanks to OB Specialist with M health. The doctors have been amazing. Every nurse or aid we experienced was a pleasure and everyone made sure we had a great experience. Couldn't be more thankful for the process!

I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in July. We had a great experience and I’m so glad we chose Fairview Ridges! The following teams were amazing: labor and delivery including the anesthesiologist who administered my epidural and on call doctor (Dr. Chelsea Bayer), NICU, food service, postpartum, lactation consultants, housekeeping, lab tech, and front desk! Thank you all!

During the birthing/pushing, Dr. Olsen left the room over 4 times without even telling us where she was going. She would leave like 5-10min. Comes back either on the phone or looking for something. The initial nurse that was with us overnight was pleasant and attentive, but she had to be relieved because her shift was over. The new nurse had no cl... read more

DONT GO HERE. you MIGHT get lucky and get a good care team, I did the first time but the second time the team was NEGLECTFUL and almost killed me by ignoring pre eclampsia. It's worth it to drive up to southdale or down to Northfield, not worth risking yours or your babies life! Even if all goes well half the postnatal staff is rude, and depending on the doctor you get your delivery experience might be ruined. The only good thing out of that hospital is the charge nurse I believe, unfortunately I can't remember her name but ... read more
