I gave birth to my second baby here several weeks ago. The experience exceeded my expectations. In contrast to my first hospital delivery, the birth center provided exactly what I was looking for: a welcoming, serene place to deliver my baby with no unnecessary interventions. The Birth Center was exactly the experience my Fiancé and I wanted for our first born baby. Wonderful facility, patient and caring doctors, and an overall amazing experience. My fiancé had a water birth here and the doctors were ready at every step of the process, knowledgable in every way, and listening and patient with everything my fiancé was feeling. The one star is not for the Birthing center. It is for the pictures of their Doctor in the pictures. Dr. Nicola Pemberton RUINED my life!!! She caused me so much anxiety for so long. On october 25, 2019 she was my surgeon for my fallopian tube removal. She went in with her vesser(instrument used during laparoscopic surgery) and punctured my descending AORTA!!! I delivered my third baby here with my CNM Paola Escobar and doula Tatiana Smith. I couldn't imagine doing it without their knowledge and expertise. I had an intense but amazing experience here. It has everything needed to help you with labor. Their staff was also very kind and helpful. It was my second time delivering at a birthing center and hopefully I can deliver here again in the future. Thank you so much for your attentiveness and care.
5 stars! My fiancé and I had our first baby here a few days ago, and the experience has been amazing. I was a patient of the birthing center and its partner OBGYN, Artemis, for the last two-ish months of my pregnancy (I transferred from another OBGYN), and the transition was smooth. Rosemary and the entire staff on both sides (birthing center and OBGYN) are so sweet and professional. They really helped my first pregnancy/delivery go very smoothly.
