My friend and I stopped in to grab some coffee. While the drinks were pretty delicious, the employees weren’t very deaf-friendly. We communicate with hearing people who doesn’t know how to sign by writing, and the cashier made several attempts to verbally communicate with my friend, who ordered first, before finally resorting to writing back. Great place, but not Deaf friendly atmosphere. It’s difficult to match I was very disappointed with the lack of empathy and accessibility for Deaf customers. I clearly explained that I am Deaf and showed the barista notes on my phone with our drink order. However, the barista continued speaking to me even after I explained that I could not hear or communicate that way. Visited this place for brunch and had a wonderful experience. We were promptly seated upon arrival and ordered the Lemon & Ricotta Pancakes and Eggs with Potatoes & Vegetables, accompanied by our beverages. The service was efficient and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for a delightful brunch experience!
