I was just in the neighborhood looking for some ideas. They were so nice, greetings when I came in, and even as the were busy working on a bike they made time to talk to me. I was very impressed by that. I'm looking forward to being a customer.
Excellent service!!! Even gave me some cycling tips!
The Bike Coop is a great place to get your bike fixed, meet people who like bikes, or to do anything, really.
Thanks Greg, Matt, Ryan, DJ and all of you at Bike Coop. My KHS TR-101 has gotten me all the way to North Carolina and the 3 tune-ups I've needed are all just for basic maintenance and cleaning. For those reading this, I bought a touring bike in December for a cross-country ride and after a change in the seat and handle-bars - and a good amount of time spent fitting me to the bike - I trained and then started on the adventure April 2nd. I received a lot of tips from all the staff and got several needed accessories. Customer ... read more
Friendly, fast, inexpensive. Great service and expertise. I have lived in Albuquerque for 10 years and this is the best bicycle shop in town so far.
The absolute best bike shop in town! If you're looking for friendly service, quick tune ups and knowledgable staff then I recommend the Bike Coop. I have a rickety, antique bike and every single time I go in, Ryan tunes my bike, pumps up my tires and oils my chain. As a college student, the prices are very fair and affordable and they have shown me new and cool bike routes around town to try out. Go check them out!
Out of towner, needing emergency rebuild of front wheel. Parts got ordered in; two guys stayed 3+ hours late on a Saturday nite ( had promised repair done by closing). Even cleaned/lubed and redid rear shifting cable. Repair cost was fair. My bike rode fantastic 9 miles out at White Mesa the next day. I'd go back to them again. Boy was I lucky.
A good business to support with knowledgeable and friendly staff who care about making a difference in the world of cycling. Thanks for your help
I've read plenty of reviews about bike shops that suggest that they're run by a bunch of snobs with little patience for amateur bicyclists and/or any person that doesn't have at least one of the following: a nose ring, ear plug (I think that's what they're called), tattoos, a flannel, or one of the French flip-brim bicyclist caps. Thankfully, I didn't find The Bike Coop to be like these other shops, because I know very little about bikes---considering I'd gone about 15 years without riding one!---and went in asking some real... read more
