Awesome food great atmosphere
My husband and I love coming here on the weekends for dinner. The food is always great and my husband really enjoys the selection of German beer. You seat yourself and have the option of sitting at a shared table where you can make friends with others. We prefer sitting in the cozy dining chairs at a table for two and getting to soak in the atmosphere. The staff is always pleasant and service is fairly quick. I recommend the cordon bleu with spatzle and cucumber salad (if they have it!).
I've always complained about German food being "flavorless," with my only point of reference being a sketchy German pub connected to a grocery in Hinesville, Ga. I figured that by virtue of operating out of Hinesville, GA the establishment produced the lowest common denominator (as it does with most everything; restaurants, bars, hairstylists, etc.), but I find comfort in judging in absolutes.
