The hotel is quite beautiful but very quiet. I walked around but ultimately ate breakfast in their polo lounge. The food was always very good there the problem is the menu can be a little old school and lacking some modern dishes. When the sidewalks are being blocked from parking you are required to use the valet parking.. which is $22 plus tip. It is still a beautiful place and the addition of photograph history of celebrities currently on their walls is a very positive edition.
This is an excellent hotel, we had a balcony room, the deco, layout, fixtures , linens , bedding, furniture - everything is excellent quality and carefully selected. The guest services and hotel greeters and house keeping were all great and didn't expect tips etc. It's certainly not cheap, so expect to pay premium for everything. The classiest HOTEL with capital letters. Its the place where I have had interviews with celebrities like George Clooney or Kiss Gene Simmons and crossed path with Alec Baldwin. Oh, yes, you could also stay here !
