By improve data collection and not twisting and manipulate with them in order that in local your NGO have bean used for political purposes, such data later are twisted even more and go to the world. in such manner you hurt your volunteers and above all donors who trust you 100% + your main target group only loose imho they already suffered enough. 20 years ago you were NGO who were among the best in that same part of the world, not sure what happened - maybe you need better liaison officers in local and better monitoring.
