Awesome Experience.....not what we expected!! – My husband decided it was time to replace our old, wornout mattress. We dreaded the thought of having to go out and face the idea of dealing with a "slick" salesman trying to force us into buying the "deal of the week". Good prices and friendly salespeople... – My husband and I recently purchased a futon and mattress set for our son who is going to school at UNC. We visited a few different mattress stores, and were really put off by the high pressure salespeople. At one store, we felt like we were being stalked by the salesperson! When we went to the Better Sleep Store, however, the salesperson was happy to let us look around on our own, and when we did have questions, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. NO RETURNS! – I have been in Chapel Hill since 1968 and this is the worst experience I have ever had in any local store. I went in and saw a headboard that I liked, but I wanted it in Cherry wood instead of dark wood. They ordered it and delivered it weeks later, but it looks more like mahogany than cherry wood. However, not only will the owner nott allow me to return it (even though I offered to pay shipping both ways), I was willing to compromise, but he won't even let me exchange it for something that would work in my hou... read more
