Took my dad here for father's day and the food and service was amazing. There was no wait at all. I will be back!
Stopped on our way home to Tennessee. Forgot to take a picture of our food to share on here. We had collards, cabbage, okra, green beans and meatloaf. Food was incredible…just wish we lived closer to be able to eat there daily. Lol. If you are passing through Shelby or if you live nearby, you have to eat at Bess!!! Staff are very nice as well!! We highly recommend!!!
Just head to golden corral if you're looking for soulfood. This aint it. Ordered salmon patties with fries and Mac. Salmon patties and Mac had absolutely no flavor. Patties was extra small no seafood seasonings (I'm from MD so we are used to extra large patties and old bay). The Mac was cheesy with no seasoning added. The fries was seasoned but way too much. There was no soul in the food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Went out for mother's day. When we got there was maybe two or three couple's there we waited and waited for our meals and one of them never came to the table. So we had to ask for it the waitress had know clue what was going on.... Some of the food was good and the other need to be cooked a little longer. I don't think we will be going back there....
