Memorable stay! – For the money and location, you cannot find a better or more luxurious hotel than the Benjamin.
A Tad Cramped – Lovely room, service good but the small bathroom made for cramped living for two people. Always in danger of something falling into the commode. A little more shelf space or a vanity in the bedroom would be helpful. Otherwise, comfortable and clean. Nicely decorated. Bed linens inviting and fluffy white pillows were great!
10 – This hotel is newly remodeled, up-to-date. Second floor lounge with player piano a great place to unwind and chat with friends. Staff helpful, accommodating, courteous. Toiletries in rooms are wonderful products. They should be available for sale along with the pillows. Quality bedding, mattress is firm and comfortable. The pillow menu selection leaves no head unrested. Suites are furnished tastefully. truly home away from home. Every room has internet access and a fax machine on a separate line.
Best in NYC – This is my favorite hotel in NYC. I had a room for about a month while I was in New York on business. Big hotels with large staffs and extensive decor are nice, but The Benjamins boutique style is so much more personal. The staff is extremely courteous and the room amenities, from pillow selection onward, are fantastic. I highly recommend one of the corner rooms on Lexington and 50th with large windows all around.
The Benjamin has a 4.2 star rating with 932 reviews.
