Thanks to Mike & Mike we learned that we had Bumble Bees not Honey Bees. So no unnecessary excavation. It’s time to call an exterminator instead. Definitely contact them for bee issues because they won’t lead you down a deceitful path. I was so grateful to learn what they discovered that it was worth their assessment fee! We found a bumblebee nest and needed it removed for construction work that was scheduled. They came same day and removed the nest. So fast!
