I had one of the worst braid experiences of my life with this stylist, and I truly wish I had never booked the appointment. I came in expecting neat, clean braids done with care, but what I received looked rushed, uneven, and poorly executed. The parts were crooked and inconsistent, some braids were much bigger than others, and several of them were loose while others were extremely tight and painful. I sent my girl friends to come get her hair done with color and sew in literally she had rashes all over her head . I don’t know what she did but my girlfriend literally had to pay someone else to take her hair down and we had to go to pharmacy to get cream that took weeks the rashes to go away. We called kemisha the owner and she literally blocked my number and wouldn’t respond. I feel so bad because I told my girlfriend to go here just be aware before you step foot in this shop
My sister came from out of town went to this salon for braids and had a terrible experience. From the beginning, she said the staff was rude and dismissive, like they didn’t really care about what she wanted. Once they started braiding, it quickly became painful. She told them it was too tight, but they brushed her off and kept going. By the time she left, her scalp was throbbing and the braids were way tighter than she asked for.
