The worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time. Waiter (tall bearded fellow) slurred his speech, kept confusing ingredients and names of dishes, didn't check in or refill water on a very hot day, and most importantly repeatedly confused life-threatening allergens. Pizza was mediocre (stodgy crust, baked at too low temperature), fish was underseasoned. And prices were very high, even if the food *had* been decent. There are good restaurants in Boone--not sure how this place survives.
Absolutely incredible. It's very clear these guys take pride in their skills... Will be back and recommend!
I have lived with celiac disease for six years come this August and never had I been given the runaround and felt hostility from wait staff in the way I did my last visit. I have spent many special occasions dining here and genuinely felt like the staff had been knowledgeable and careful. I left this time feeling ashamed and out of place.
