Pros: Relatively cheap, utilities included, close to Mayo Clinic (next to a parking lot with a bus free for employees), fully furnished, on-site shared laundry room, and short-term lease options available. Cons: It can get very humid during the summer, especially in the basement, and the AC units can be noisy. Also, while the area is generally safe, often loud people hang out by the entrance of the building. Overall, given the cost, the experience mostly met the expectations. Lived here in a studio for about 6 months and absolutely loved it! The owners were incredibly kind and went over and above to do me a huge favor (and didn’t even charge me), and they were extremely prompt whenever I had a question/problem. Right next to the Mayo Shuttle, and very close to several nice restaurants, an Indian Grocery store, and a park. I had the choice of either living here at a very reasonable price, or living closer to Mayo/downtown at a much higher price, and because of the shuttle I actually reached Mayo q... read more
