A Pros & Cons review. Stayed for 7 days with a reservation my sister in-law made for us. Pros-Great location with access to everything in walking distance. Beautiful view of the Bay from our first floor patio. Rooms are comfortable, but need a little upgrade. Office staff were tentative to our needs and friendly. Cons-This place is pet friendly and basically a resort for dogs. I'm a pet lover and a owner of dogs all my life. But there are no rules or regulations enforced. The Wife and I have been her 5 times . This year will be our last …… I hadn’t noticed the place had became “pet friendly “. We’ve been pet owners all of our lives . We have “Grand-pups “ we watch for our grown children. So it’s not that we are animal haters This is another level at Bay Resort. Dogs Pissing everywhere! !!! Also there is of course those that don’t seem to be watching when there dog takes a dump ! So now the small grassy area on the bay side is full of land minds & piss ! I spent three nights at this hotel with my wife and 3 year old son. We tried to make the best of it because of the great service and the convenient location, but ultimately we were disappointed with the condition of our room. It was a poolside king efficiency on the first floor. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned and the stove was dirty. Some of the tiles around the front door were missing or cracked.
