I didn’t get what I paid for. If they couldn’t level the concrete as agreed then I shouldn’t have to pay the full estimate as if they used all the poly I expected to level the concrete. I was told it wouldn’t be perfect but this does not look like anything was done except caulk. I expressed my dissatisfaction and emailed them. No response yet. My husband and I were told by Ohio Basement Authority that our foundation was bowing in due to standing water against the cinder block, which we can’t even see because it is covered by mastic. We were assured that it was very serious and required $20,000+ of work to correct. We had 3 additional basement companies come out and they each confirmed (without being told what we were told by Ohio Basement Authority) that nothing we were told by Ohio Basement Authority was accurate, and that we had a very minor problem in our hands... read more
It has taken me quite a while to write this, but I continue to see the damage caused by a mistake Ohio Basement Authority made when working on our crawlspace. The crew unplugged our sump pump to use the outlet and never plugged it back in. Unfortunately, this happened right before we left for vacation, so we came back to a partially flooded basement. Would give zero stars if I could. I needed a patio leveled and the sales rep took me through a song a dance that ended with a quote of $6700. The cost to tear out and pour a new slab was less............If you need concrete leveling call SlabMasters in Stow. The are 5x the quality for a third of the cost.
