Absolutelt the worst! – They should have an option to give 0 or even a negative number of stars if they're asking people to review the basement doctor. The rep promised me they would take care of all my problems. The biggest problem I ended up having was that he didn't know what he was doing. He lied to me and then tried to add thusands of dollars to my contract. Don't waste your time with this company.
Go elsewhere – This business which is based in Reynoldsburg but services other areas including Dayton is a complete mess. Not only is their voicemail/call service difficult to deal with but they stratify your call through multiple layers of know-nothing representatives who promise to have somebody who knows something call you back. THEN, be prepared to wait... an eternity until you decide to call them back. Good Experience With Basement Doctor – I had a good experience with The Basement Doctor. I had a leak in basement, and called for a free estimate. The salesperson was nice, clean cut and knowledgeable. He recommend a few things I could do myself and they worked. I'm glad I called The Basement Doctor.
Outrageous! – Wanted to do a simple finish to our 24x20 basement, w/two windows to box in. Also wanted the ceiling done, everything painted, and carpeted. I got 4 estimates, the Basement Doctor was last. My estimates were as follows; 1. $7800 2. $7400 3. $7900 4. $31,150 Thats right, its not a typo...over 31 thousand dollars! Thats almost 1/5 the total cost of the house! They are either confused, crazy, or thiefs, and I suspect the latter. Stay FAR, FAR AWAY!
Beware of Basment Doctor – Or less stars if I could There is not enough space to fully tell you the experience I had with this bunch and they have lots of tenicles of companies under other names. Beware. They send out a saleman who knows nothing about deteriating basements or how to recognize if one is going to be deteriorating. He picks what they'll do and that's all they do and all they guarantee. He has no experience with anything but the tape-measure.and sales hype.
