I lived at the Barrington for 8 years . It used to be a nice place to live . Pros: Its in a great location , the apartments have in unit washers and dryers and most of them have been renovated with stainless steel appliances and some granite countertops . The underground heated parking is great in the winter. They did just recently install a Luxer Package system so that you can access your packages 24 hours a day . It's a fairly good place. My deal-breaker was I must have an in-unit washer and dryer. I got it. Just the washer wasn't attached to begin with and the dryer doesn't work. 🫠 Still doesn't work. Been having to leave to do my laundry else where.
I lived at The Barrington for approximately two years. I first lived in a two bedroom two bathroom, which was $1,700 a month. That unit had flooding problems and we went at least a month without heat/AC. They let me move to a one bedroom one bathroom unit down the hall, which was about $1,200 a month for a 14 month lease. This unit was fine. Nice patio and faced trees. Maintenance guys and Thomas in the office were always very polite and helpful. My big issue with the unit was the amount of mold I came across. Update: Though the timing took longer than expected I am happy to say that the staff has been very professional and helpful once we were able to talk in person. The work order system process unfortunately did not get the work orders done and I had to reach out for each item individually. The maintenance worker I spoke with (Max) was very professional, friendly and efficient with the work being done. I am unsure if the work order system has an issue or something else, but I am impressed with the effort that has put into helpi... read more
