I. Moved in on April 4th and apartment was totally unacceptable and not move in ready.The carpet was filthy that they eventually replaced.The walls was not painted.The cabinets was chipped and not painted, The toilet seeks was coming off and the bathroom plugs was not Working and the biggest Problem is the dishwasher was not working and was filthy and is leaking water in the kitchen Even as we speak. I've been living here for about 4 months. Never had any problem with the apartment, with neighbors or with the admin office. Quite the opposite actually: I'm sooooo glad I've made the right choice. As an immigrant, Its super easy to get mislead and end up on shitty apartments here in Marietta (like my last one). It's super interesting to enter and see ppl complaining. I had a great experience getting my apartment at The Barrett, thanks to Noel. She worked fast and made the whole process smooth and fair, helping me secure the exact unit I wanted. The community itself is well-maintained, and the amenities are a big plus. So far, I’ve really enjoyed living here, and I appreciate how responsive and professional the management team is. If you’re looking for a place with a great atmosphere and a team that genuinely cares, The Barrett is a solid choice.
I do not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. The management staff is beyond incompetent and failed to give notice or lied to me on several occasions in the past two years I've been here. To start for nearly three months I had an unresolved issue of water pouring down from my ceiling when ever my upstairs neighbor ran his washing machine. The on-site management is the worst I have ever encountered. I moved in on October of 2024 and every time I requested to view the unit I was getting, I was told that I couldn't because it was being fixed for my move in date. Basically I was not giving time to inspect the unit for issues until the day I received keys. I found some issues and was told they would be taking care of (which did not happen).
