While the instructors at the studio are great, I felt misled by the fact that the classes offered are not quite barre based classes. I attended ~4 classes and in only 1 did we barely use the barre. For context, the 'Strength' class that I was originally interested in, after a few classes was told (after inquiring with the instructors) would actually never incorporate the barre in any class. So why offer it at a barre studio? I would have absolutely continued with a membership if they were actually barre workouts.
My heart aches writing this review knowing I am leaving this studio (moving away). Kate is an insanely talented instructor. She has made me a person with discipline, strength, endurance, patience, and has made me love and trust my body in so many ways. If you’re ever considering taking a class I highly recommend taking a strength class with her even her signature class will make you question “no way this is just the warm up”.
