I enjoyed the stay. Close to Virginia and the the old building itself!
No A/C, no elevator, terrible service. Went to check in at Baroness at 6:30 pm, door locked, guest let me in after 15 minutes. Front desk is empty and leaves a sign saying “call this number.” No one picks up. Front desk person saunters in 10 minutes in and tells me I have to go across the street to check in (no mention on aforementioned sign). Check in across the street takes 20 more minutes because their system froze, as it does frequently (apparently). I carry my suitcase up 5 flights of stairs and enter the room, which is... read more
Idk how to start this... Holy Hell its hot in this hotel!!! It's old so take it for what it is.
La gente se queja por gusto. El hotel está perfecto. La ubicación es muy buena en el downtown, así que para quien se queje de las colinas, en Seattle hay colinas, no es culpa del hotel la topografía de la ciudad. La habitación es amplia, está perfectamente limpia y todo funcionaba. Hacía calor? Pues abre la ventana. La atención era excelente por todo el personal, especialmente por el chico de la tarde. Así que dejen de quejarse, y aprovechen esta joya en Seattle. Si el ascensor es lento, y? :)
Great value & walkable location to both Capitol Hill & Downtown. Rooms are very dated and lack AC, and the outlets are awkwardly placed far away from the bed so it was hard to lay in bed and charge my phone at the same time, bathroom was cramped and there was an inoperable stove and oven taking up space in the room. Despite this, the room was clean and fans are provided, prepare to rearrange your room a little when you first arrive and for it to feel a little stuffy in the summer months.
