Really nice and hospitable restaurant. Staff was super friendly and really made us feel like home during our long drive trip

I used to dine here often when I was a trucker but stopped in today, Sunday June 29th, at 2.30 pm and was met with a closed sign on the door with a lady stating they only had two pieces of chicken left. There were three people standing outside. Their sign says they are supposed to be open until 4 pm. The attendant outside informed me that they sold out of food. Therefore, I can't give them a good or bad rating. America sure has changed in the last four years that I have been overseas.
One of the best places to eat in smyth co. Nestled in off of exit 54 there is a little restaurant called Sweetwater venue. If you want food that tastes like it came out of your grandmother's kitchen then you need to take the time to stop.
I love this place. Every time we travel threw we stop to eat just feels like home and great food we will be back again thanks guys
