Not only was Dr. Hoen amazing and nice, but all the staff and nurses were amazing. Best bedside manner, and helped me through everything. Very thorough with information and answered every single question I had without hesitation.

What a great experience AND great team. I had to transfer into the program from another due to insurance, and Dr. Hoehn and the rest of the staff made the transition seamless. My bypass was 2 1/2 weeks ago (3/8/16) and I am already down 15 pounds. The whole process from pre-op to post-op was absolutely amazing. The post-op staff was incredible. For anyone even considering a bypass or band, I highly recommend The Bariatric Center of KC.

I had my surgery on 3/8/16. I couldn't have asked for any better care than I got while in the hospital. It was excellent. Also I made a call the evening I got home and had quick response to my message that was left.

Had my bypass surgery on 2/24/16 by Dr. Hamilton. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff, from the surgeons down to the nurses and orderlies. I had a little trouble with recovery and needed to stay in the hospital a few extra days. The nurses were so attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I never waited more than a few minutes after I pushed the call button. And they were VERY skilled. NOTHING they did hurt - not the catheter removal, not the IV, not the drain removal. I"m a week out from sleeve surgery thanks to Dr. Hoehn and the amazing staff. I can't wait for my first post-op visit tomorrow to see where my weight stands!!
Dr Hoehn cares. Their team cares.. It's the best facility and Dr doing the surgery that you can have! I had my sleeve done.. 7.5 months ago. 90 lbs lost . 10 from goal. He gave me my life back! Thank you Dr Hoehn! One of the biggest and best decisions I ever made!
My father and I both had our sleeves done. Me by Dr. Hohn and my father by Dr. Hamilton. His date was 7/2015 and he is down over 80 lbs. My date was 10/21/2015 and I'm down over 50lbs. The staff has always been there for anything we needed. I have had a few complications but can always depend on a call back even on a weekend. This surgery is not an easy way to become healthier or to lose weight, but worth it. Thank you to both doctors and all the other staff!!
