Well here goes , we went for dinner only to be very disappointed , as I have been in the restaurant and catering business for over 25 years at some of the best in our area and actually across the street at The Armory , I will say the service was great , Michael was very attentive and had a great personality , however the food , first the shrimp coctail was good but the coctail sauce was watery and lacked flavor , second the steak & shrimp scampi the steak was ordered medium it was pink but dry definitely frozen and no flavor... read more
I have been going to The Barge on and off through the years, and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly and down t earth. This restaurant was rated with high marks by Cue magazine. Now I hungry for some fish (smile).
We have our Christmas Eve seafood dinner at The Barge every year. It only gets better & better. We love the atmosphere & the service & staff are attentive & friendly. Our traditional Shore dinner never disappoints us. Thank you & Merry Christmas!
If The Barge had other locations, they would put Red Lobster out of business! !
