My fiance and I foraged our own wedding rings, and had a wonderful experience! Craig was a great instructor, and he brought a fun laid back atmosphere to whole experience. He was helpful and positive every step of the way, and the end result ended up being perfect! He was kind enough to even take pictures of us while we were foraging our rings. As someone who had never foraged anything, or made jewelry before, I was nervous going into it, but I had nothing to worry about. The Barefoot Forage is just a really cool place in ge... read more
Spending a handful of hours with Craig was the highlight of this experience. I loved learning the process, performing the steps, and now wearing this beautiful one-of-a-kind ring that I created. I had an absolute blast at the shop creating some bottle openers out railroad spikes. If anyone is looking for a Father's Day gift idea, this is it, just plan ahead. I'm looking forward to when they start up again in the fall for the knife making class.
I took the railroad spike bottle opener class (no experience blacksmithing at all) and had an absolute blast! Craig and Andy were great instructors and I was able to leave with a couple awesome handmade bottle openers - now all my friends and family want one! Can’t recommend these guys enough, thanks Craig and Andy!!
My daughter-in-law scheduled my son and I for a basic blacksmithing class as a Fathers Day present to us both. I didn't know what to expect, but I can now say that I thoroughly enjoyed the class! The four hours went by too fast so now I must take another class with Craig and his assistant to continue my new found journey into blacksmithing! I would HIGHLY recommend this class, this experience and this shop in particular to anyone who might have even a slight interest - you'll go home like me and start looking for an anvil!
