I got a delivery from here and while the 'dry rub' was tasty the meats were dried out and tough, as though it had sat in a steam table all day. The BBQ sauce was nice and spicy and offset the down side of the meat. The baked beans were mushy as though from a can, the potato salad had under cooked and crunchy potatoes with hot, white onion that did not compliment the recipe. I had to toss the salad.
A Denver resident by the name of Pat Hahn (if you know this individual publicly shame them for me) had the nerve to write a note on a receipt saying they wouldn't return because of the trans* bathroom that this bar so graciously provides. Instead of ignoring it, the bar posted it to social media, taking an even bigger stand against bigotry by making such an event public. The amazingness of this place is just too hard to describe. Norm does great ribs. The Bar is exactly what I love, small local friendly.
