The staff there seemed to be unfriendly but the ice cream was awesome

The ice cream sandwich was yummy! Only downside, they were running late that afternoon so the cookie I originally planned on was not baked yet. ☹️BUT the chocolate chip/brownie with bear batter was well worth the trip.
Fantastic spot! Loved everything about my experience at the Baked Bear in La Costa. Hands down best ice cream in San Diego.
