Bait & Hook is one of our go-to spots, especially for their sushi rolls, we order from here all the time and they never disappoint! The food is always fresh, the service is great, and the team is always so friendly and welcoming!
Crab cakes were smallish, perfectly pan seared, and presented on a bed of remoulade and topped with a garnish that gave the dish a wonderful Asian hint of flavor. 10 out of 10! Skewered shrimp were jumbo sized (Florida Pinks?), pan seared in a delicious seasoning blend and not overcooked. Another 10 out of 10! I didn’t have the Cod sandwich because it was panko fried instead of traditionally batter fried. I wish they offered batter fried, because judging by the other dishes we tried, it would be off the charts!
Pros: -DELICIOUS Food, everything tasted like a fresh catch -The portions are incredible -Plenty of Seating -Plenty of Parking -Attentive and friendly staff Cons: -Not really a con, more of a heads up; a bit pricey but well worth it
Best sushi in town and even better customer service. Lived in Sanford/Lake Mary for over 7 years and we love our local little sushi shop! Not only is the food fresh, yummy and affordable but the service is amazing! They remember their customers and specific details of prior conversations.
