We fought so hard to overcome our past and become foster parents. We were licensed in KY and OH. We had clearance to work at foster kids camps and juvenile halls in California. We get to VA and you guys slam the door on us for a charge that was over 20 yrs old. We went through risk assessment and won in OH. We spent hundreds of dollars and spent countless hours just to be sent a text by our worker that we were unlicensable in VA. We need someone to fight for us. To believe in us. Look up our case in OH. I have enjoyed working at The Bair Foundation of Richmond, for the past 7 years. I started as a case manager and moved to the intake position. Our team is awesome and are very supportive of one another, our foster children, and foster parents. I definitely believe Bair is an awesome place to become a foster parent.

I absolutely love being the State Director for this organization! I'm able to show the love of Christ in the work that I do. The staff are tremendous! They are dedicted to improving the lives of children in care. I know that we will continue to touch lives and change hearts through our work.
