If you are a hobbit fan then this is a great experience. I loved the nature, home interior and external. Great place to share. It was special because my son is visiting from New York. So it was a special time.
Very Tolkienesque. Plates and bowls were even hand cracked by dwarves.
The Bag Inn is a hidden treasure in Salem, OR. The interior is impeccably clean and incredibly cozy. You can tell how much thought went into the design, construction, and decoration of the interior and exterior. The mattress is really comfortable and the heater kept the entire place warm during the cold fall evening. The host, Roy, is communicative and available via text during your stay. Whether you love LOTR or are simply craving a cozy, unique stay somewhere quiet -- this Hobbit Hole has to be at the top of your list!
Happened upon a Facebook post for The Bagg Inn and they had an open night when we were going to be driving through Salem on the way back from our coast vacation. BEST spur of the moment addition. It was magical and the night spent here was more relaxing than any of the nights on the beach. The bed was super comfortable and they had the entire set (Hobbit and LOTR) extended editions available to watch! Looking forward to a longer stay.
